      Pairing your Fire Stick remote

      Here are a few steps to get started

      • Replace the batteries in your remote

      • Move your remote closer to your Fire TV device, within 10 feet

      • Unplug your Fire TV device from the power cord or adapter then plug it back in

      Replace the batteries in your remote

      1. Turn over the remote and put one thumb on the arrow at the bottom of the battery cover

      2. Put your other thumb at the top of the remote above the battery cover

      3. Hold the top of the remote tightly. Push down the battery cover by applying pressure with the thumb that's on the bottom of the battery cover

      4. Slide the door down halfway and roll off the cover from the remote battery casing

      5. Insert new triple AAA batteries and slide the cover up until you hear a click to close the cover

      Can't pair your Fire TV remote during setup

      1. If your remote doesn't pair automatically, press the Home button 2-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1428-PM for 10-15 seconds

        until "Press 1-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1411-PM to start" appears on-screen (about 10 seconds)

      2. Move your remote closer to your Fire TV device, within 5 ft

      3. Remove the batteries from your remote and wait 30 seconds

      4. Put the batteries back in and then press and hold the Home 2-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1428-PM button again

      5. Reset your Fire TV remote

      Pair additional Fire TV remotes

      1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV

      2. Select Controllers & Bluetooth Devices

      3. Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes

      4. Select Add New Remote, then follow the onscreen instructions

      Reset your Fire TV remote

      Place your remote within 10 feet of your Fire TV device

      1. Unplug the power from your Fire Stick and wait 60 seconds

      2. Press and hold:
        Left button 3-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1425-PM (Click wheel to the left and hold)

        Menu button 4-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1424-PM,

        and Back button 5-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1352-PM at the same time. Hold them for 12 seconds

      3. Release the buttons and wait 5 seconds

      4. Remove the batteries from your remote

      5. Plug in the power to your Fire Stick and wait 60 seconds

      6. Put the batteries back in your remote

      7. Press the Home button 6-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1191-PM on the remote

      8. When the LED indicator blinks blue, your remote is paired successfully. If it's not paired, press the Home button 7-Mar-09-2023-05-56-17-1087-PM for 10 seconds.
