Turn over the remote and put one thumb on the arrow at the bottom of the battery cover 2. Put your other thumb at the top of the remote above the battery cover 3. Hold the top of the remote tightly. Push down the battery cover by applying pressure with the thumb that's on the bottom of the battery cover 4. Slide the door down halfway and roll off the cover from the remote battery casing 5. Insert new triple AAA batteries and slide the cover up until you hear a click to close the cover ### Can't pair your Fire TV remote during setup 1. Move your remote closer to your Fire TV device, within 5 ft 3. Remove the batteries from your remote and wait 30 seconds 4. [Reset your Fire TV remote](https://support.neonscreens.com/knowledge/pairing-your-fire-stick-remote#Reset) ### Pair additional Fire TV remotes 1. Go to **Settings** on your Fire TV 2. Select **Controllers & Bluetooth Devices** 3. Select **Amazon Fire TV Remotes** 4. Select **Add New Remote**, then follow the onscreen instructions ### Reset your Fire TV remote Place your remote within 10 feet of your Fire TV device 1. Unplug the power from your Fire Stick and wait 60 seconds 2. Hold them for 12 seconds 3. Release the buttons and wait 5 seconds 4. Remove the batteries from your remote 5. Plug in the power to your Fire Stick and wait 60 seconds 6. Put the batteries back in your remote 7. When the LED indicator blinks blue, your remote is paired successfully.
