Here are some possible reasons your screen may not be displaying your content and what you can do about it!

I. How to Fix a "No Signal" or "No Input" Screen

If your TV screen is black or blue and displays a message like "No Signal," "No Input," or "Check Cable," it usually means the TV is looking for your Neon player on the wrong channel, or the cable needs a quick refresh.

Follow these steps to get your content back on screen:

1. Check the Player's Power
If you are using a Neon Media Player, unseat and reseat the power cable going from the TV or wall outlet into your player. This will ensure the Player is receiving power.

2. Check Your TV Input (Source)
Using your TV’s original remote control (not the Neon player remote), locate the button labeled Input or Source. (note: depending on your remote this may also sometimes be an Icon of an rightward-facing arrow going into a square screen)

  • Press the button to bring up the list of inputs (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3).

  • Cycle through each HDMI input one by one.

  • Important: Wait 5–10 seconds on each input to give the TV time to recognize the signal and display your content.

3. Refresh the HDMI Connection
If cycling the inputs via your remote didn't work, we may need to reset the connection.

  • Unplug the Neon Media device from the HDMI port on the TV and plug it firmly back in.
