How to Assign a Premade Music Playlist

The Neon Dashboard includes a library of curated, premade playlists and artist collections. Follow these steps to select a premade playlist and assign it to your screens.

1. Navigate to the Music Library

  • Log in to your Neon Dashboard at admin.neonscreens.com.

  • Click on Music in the main menu on the left side of the screen.

  • Ensure the Library tab is selected at the top of the page.

2. Select a Playlist

  • Browse the selection of premade playlists and artists.

  • Click on any playlist to open it and view the specific tracks included.

3. Save to Your Account

  • Once you have found a playlist you want to use, look for the Duplicate as Playlist button in the bottom right corner.

  • Click this button. This action creates a copy of the playlist in your account so you can assign it to your devices.

4. Assign and Publish

  • In the New Playlist details view, find the Assign to Players dropdown menu on the left side.

  • Select locations where you want this music to play.

  • Click the blue Add Playlist button in the bottom right corner to finish.

Success! The playlist has been assigned and can be selected for play or included in shuffle play immediately.

TIP: If you notice the new playlist is not being included in play, try power cycling your music device by unplugging the power cord, waiting for approximately 30 seconds, and plugging it back in.
