      How to Set Up Amazon Firestick

      Follow these instructions to set-up your Amazon Firestick

      Setup & Install Amazon Fire Stick 

      1. Unpackage the remote, Amazon Fire TV Stick, USB power cable, and power adapter.
      2. Plug the Amazon Fire TV Stick into an available HDMI port on the screen, preferably HDMI 1.
      3. Supply power to the Amazon Fire TV Stick.
        Best practice is to supply power from an available power plug from the wall. If one is not available, power the device via a USB port (1.0A if available) on the TV.
      4. Turn the screen on and navigate to the HDMI source the device is connected to.
      5. Once the device powers on, it will take you through the usual set up process of having you pick a language and set up your WiFi connection. 
      6. Since this is an Amazon device, it will make you register it under an amazon account. It does not matter what account you use, this will not affect anything in the later steps. This is just for set up purposes. 
      7. Select no if it asks for any subscriptions or parental controls. 
      8. Before downloading the Neon App, please uninstall or "Hide" all the other apps by hovering over them and clicking on the three Horizontal Lines on your Amazon Firestick remote located on the right side right next to the Home Button. Hide/uninstall all the remaining apps besides Neon. 
      9. Once we hide all the apps, on the Amazon Home Screen, find the magnify glass icon to  search for the Neon App. 
      10. After downloading the Neon app, we're going to have you change some of the settings. 
      11. Go into Settings --> Select "Display & Sounds" --> Select "Screensaver" --> Change the start time to "NEVER". 
      12. Also in Settings --> Select "Preferences" --> Click on "Notification Settings" --> Click "App Notifications" --> Turn ALEXA "OFF" 
      13. Again in Settings -->Select "Preferences" -->  Select "Featured Content" --> Turn both those Options to "OFF" by clicking once on them. 
      14. The last step is also under "Preferences" --> "Select "Time Zone" and choose appropriate Time Zone for location. 
      15. Your settings are all set. You can select the Home Button and Open up the Neon App. You can use your Screen IDs & PIN that are in the located in the Media Player Package.
