      How to Set Up Outdoor Samsung OH TV

      In this article, we'll be showing you how to set-up your outdoor TV screen and downloading the Neon App directly on the TV. Before completing these steps, please confirm that the TV is hardwired with a CAT/Ethernet cable.

      Step 1: Turn ON your Samsung TV with the Samsung remote. Initially, the TV defaults to landscape (Horizontal) mode. (If your TV is already set to Portrait (Vertical) you can skip to Step 4) 

      Step 2: With your Samsung remote, select the "Menu" button and select the option that says "OnScreen Display)

      Step 3: Next, click on "Display orientation" and choose the option that says "Onscreen Menu Orientation". Set to "Portrait" 

      Step 4: Next we are going to confirm our settings are set to the URL Launcher. (By default they are set to MagicInfo) 

      Step 5: Select the "Menu" button on your remote and scroll down to "System". Under system, we want to make sure the "Play Via" option is set to "URL Launcher". Complete this by selecting it and  choosing "URL Launcher" 

      Step 6: Next, select the "Home" button and click on "Source" 

      Choose the "URL  Launcher" option all the way to the left.

      Step 7: Once you open the URL Launcher, select the "Install Web App" option and input this URL link  http://samsungneon.com and select "Done/Go" when completed. (Confirm that there are no typos or extra spaces in this link) 

      Step 8: Once the App is done downloading, go back into “URL Launcher Settings/App Management” settings. 

      Change the “Timeout” settings to none/never or to the Maximum time allowed.

      Step 9: Select the "Menu" button and choose the "System" option. 

      After selecting System, choose the option that says "Power Control"

      Under Power Controls, set "Max Power Saving" to "OFF". 

      Set "Standby Control" to "OFF" as well.

      Step 11: Go back into "System" and choose the option that says "Auto Source Switching" and set to "New Input" 

      Also under Auto Source Switching, select the last option that says "Default Input" and set to "URL Launcher" 

      Step 12: You are now set to open the Neon App. Login with your screen ID and PIN.
