Downloading Neon onto Samsung Commercial Displays 

The purpose of this article is to show the process necessary to download the NEON app directly to a Samsung Commercial Display. Before completing these steps, please make sure the TV is connected to the Internet.

Step 1:Click the Home button on the remote and locate the “System” option


Step 2: Click on “Play Via” and select the “Custom App/URL Launcher”

Step 3:Click the Home button on the remote and locate the “URL Launcher/App Management”

Step 4: Select “Install Web/Custom App”

Step 5: Input the URL http://samsungneon.com OR http://samsungneon.com/QMB for Tizen 7 OS and select “Done/Go” when completed.
How do I know what OS my TV has?

Step 6: Wait for the app to download.

Step 7: Once the app has been downloaded, go back to the “URL Launcher Settings/App Management” settings.

Step 8: Change the “Timeout” settings to none/never or to the Maximum time allowed.

Step 9: In the General Settings, please locate “System”

Step 10: Under “System” navigate to “Power Control”

Step 11: Navigate to “Max Power Saving” and turn “Off”


Step 12: Navigate to “Standby Control” and turn “Off”


Step 13: In the General/System Settings, please locate “Auto Source Switching”

Step 14: Turn “Auto Source Switching” ON and select “New Input”

Step 15: Under “Auto Source Switching” go down and select “Default Input” and select “URL Launcher/Custom App”


Your Neon TV is now ready for use. Please Launch the Neon Application again
